The Scottish American Society was established in 1980. We preserve and promote our Scottish heritage, and are committed to support the youth in Scottish programs in the Dunedin Middle and High School Pipe Bands. Many of our more than 200 members hail from the British Isles adding their knowledge of the customs and traditions we all enjoy. Our Scottish Cultural Center was designated the City of Dunedin's first Historic Landmark in 2019, and we are located in downtown Dunedin at 917 Louden Avenue. We are also the home of Celtic Concerts offering the best in Celtic Music!
